Ok, so here is the most honest review I can possibly give about Way Back Burgers. First, the last reviewer, is obviously fake. Maybe he owns a competitor burger joint nearby. Dominique Femino? Seriously?? You counted someone wiping their nose 34 times? And they didn't call the cops on you for being a staring weirdo? Seriously???? Second, the shakes, fries, and burgers here rival all the chain burgers INCLUDING Five Guys. Third, the place in the Kingston Mall is spotless. Yes, admittedly, the service can definitely be slow during PEAK times. Other than that, the service is totally normal. Fourth, this place is an alternative to Mickey Dees, Wendys, Burger King, etc, etc. The quality is obviously better, and the service will come in time. They are a blossoming franchise that is going through some growing pains. That said, let's go over my absolute favorites when it comes to the menu. The Mac'N'Cheese bites are heavenly. Once you try them, you'll feel right as rain. Another fave of mine is the Carolina Burger! The Carolina has Chile, so it's not for everyone. The homemade chips are also one of my favorites. I usually order this with the chicken fingers. Last BUT NOT LEAST! The Irish Nachos baby! Hell Yah!
Food is very good- but they're never actually open at 10AM like their hours say they are. Usually an hour- to an hour and a half later.
Update March 2017 just dropped from 5 to 4 stars. Last Sunday at 520pm I was turned away because grill was off. Today I tried to order a cheesy at 510pm the kid said sorry grill is off. I asked what time do you close, he said 545pm and grill turns off 30 min early. Management needs to fix this, ill be back next Sunday you are either open until 6 for burgers or not!
Place was like empty takes forever for two burgers and a kids hot dog !! Delicious awesome burgers and eating area is always filthy! They need more staff on
Food is fine. They've got to figure out their process.... Takes way to long for a mall eatery.
Update July 2017 they closed. Not because of thier food which was great, because the employees had a bad attitude and always wanted to close early on Sundays. Place was always busy they should have stayed open later. Management FAIL
